Arun Chalil is an Indian cinematographer based in Kerala, working predominantly in the Malayalam film industry. With a body of work spanning action comedies, social thrillers, and period epics, he has established himself as a versatile visual storyteller.
His cinematic language is rooted in a deep respect for narrative , every frame, every light source, every camera movement is a deliberate choice in service of the story. Trained by instinct and refined through experience on sets across Kerala, his work reflects a philosophy that cinematography is not about what the camera sees , but about how it feels.
